Essential Terms and Conditions for Students and Guardians: Ensuring a Smooth Learning Journey

1. Enrolment and Registration

All students must complete the registration process through the SB Tuition Centre website or in person.
Students must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Providing false information may result in cancellation of enrolment.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) must be made between the MD, SB Tuition Centre and the Parents/Guardians prior to the assignment of a tutor via WhatsApp. The parents/guardians must signed in and abide by those conditions.

As per discussion between (Parents/Guardians – full name) and the Managing Director of SB Tuition Centre, both parties are agreed on the following terms and conditions.

2. Tuition Fees and Payment

The first month’s tuition fee is to be paid directly to SB Tuition Centre upon the commencement of tuition. (via Google Pay or PhonePe at 9395639741)
After the first month, tuition fees are payable directly to the tutor after each session. The parent and tutor can mutually decide on a convenient payment schedule, whether weekly, quarterly or monthly. Parents are not required to pay advance tuition fees to tutors. The management is not liable for any disputes or issues arising from payments made directly to tutors.
SB Tuition Centre charges an administrative fee upon successfully matching a student with a tutor, Parent has to pay Rs 500/-, a one- time non-refundable Administration fee to the Centre. (via Google Pay or PhonePe at 9395639741)
Delayed payment of the first month’s fee may result in the suspension of tuition services until fees are cleared.

3. Attendance and Punctuality

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions punctually. Regular attendance is vital for academic success.
If a student needs to miss a session, they must inform the tutor or the Centre at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the session being counted as attended, and the fee may still be payable.
Repeated absenteeism without valid reasons may lead to the termination of tuition services.

4. Code of Conduct

Students must conduct themselves respectfully towards tutors, staff, and fellow students.
Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of tuition services.
Students must adhere to the rules and regulations set by the Centre and the tutor during sessions.
Use of mobile phones during class by tutor as well as student is strictly restricted.

5. Study Material and Resources

Students are responsible for procuring the required study materials as advised by the tutor.
While SB Tuition Centre may provide additional resources, students must use them solely for educational purposes.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Students may cancel a session by informing the tutor or the Centre at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in the session fee are to be paid.
Refunds for pre-paid sessions if any will only be provided if the Centre or tutor cancels the session.
The administrative fee paid to SB Tuition Centre after successfully matching a student with a suitable tutor is non-refundable.

7. For Guardian

You understand that the final decision to choose a particular tutor for your child is yours. Guardians are requested to collect ID proof of the tutor from the tutor himself/herself. We will not be responsible for any mishaps. It is advisable to present at least one parent in the house during the tuition session.
Minimum duration of a class should be 75 minutes.
You understand that you are responsible for paying any applicable taxes for the tutoring services.
The home tutor and guardian should mutually adjust the class schedule.

8. Tutor Assignment and Replacement

SB Tuition Centre aims to match students with the most suitable tutor based on their needs and preferences.
If a student is not satisfied with the assigned tutor, they may request a replacement. The Centre will attempt to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee immediate replacement.
The Centre reserves the right to replace a tutor if deemed necessary for academic progress or other reasons.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information provided by students during registration and tuition services will be kept confidential and used solely for educational purposes.
SB Tuition Centre will not share students’ personal information with third parties without their consent, except as required by law.

10. Liability

SB Tuition Centre is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to students’ property during tuition sessions.
The Centre is not responsible for the academic performance of students, as it depends on individual effort and engagement.

11. Amendments to Terms

SB Tuition Centre reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any changes through the Centre’s website or other communication channels.
Continued use of tuition services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Assam, India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Nagaon, Assam.
